Our client is an awarded and recognized South Florida's most prominent and fastest-growing marketing solutions provider.
They seek an energetic leader with a background in the print industry to join a team as a Director of Technology. In this role, you will be responsible for effectively managing all IT operations and services, including strategic direction, day-to-day operations, infrastructure, and security management. It is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to oversee end-to-end IT support for both on and offsite employees.
This is not a remote position. The employer will help with relocation costs to South Florida.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate with department managers to evaluate ongoing technology needs.
- Ensure that technology resources and systems meet the company’s short and long-term needs.
- Develop long-term plans and anticipate future technology trends.
- Manage authentication and access methods requirements.
- Manage user-policy usage and requirements (such as password policy).
- Monitor and assess network vulnerability, develop contingency plans, and perform audits.
- Develop and implement appropriate policies, procedures, and system changes.
- Manage day-to-day operations, including support desk.
- Provide ongoing technical support and subject matter expertise for security initiatives within the company.
- Lead security initiatives, including management and maintenance of HITRUST compliance.
- Provide ongoing technical support and subject matter expertise for security initiatives.
- Support and supervise IT staff.
- Oversee all functions/processes performed by IT staff.
- Define standards for IT operations and support.
- Provide oversight of managed service providers and technical support issues and lead dealings with hardware and software vendors.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology etc. preferred or equivalent work experience.
- (4) years of successful IT Program Manager/Coordinator experience will be considered in place of the degree requirement.
- (7) years of experience in the print or manufacturing industry is required.
- Information Technology experience with project management responsibilities is required.
