Growing printing company is seeking experienced dayshift Lead Prepress Operator for their Arkansas printing plant. The ideal candidate should be experienced in preparing files for folding carton and general commercial printing with a good color management background. Responsibilities
- Preparation of files for offset or digital printing
- Examine job orders and monitor processes
- Provide guidance and training to junior Prepress Operators
- Follow and comply with all safety and compliance procedures
- Color matching and color management
- Develop new or modify existing processes and procedures to eliminate errors
- Work with the Production Manager and other departments to make sure products are produced on time
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred, High School Diploma/GED required
- 5+ years of hands-on recent experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Esko-Artios Pro, Enfocus Pitstop Pro, Enfocus Switch, Fiery, and Prinergy
- 2+ years prepress for folding cartons
- Strong math and measurement skills
- Strong color visual acuity, and color matching skills
- A strong commitment to quality and safety
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Good problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to commute to Little Rock, AR or the ability to relocate to the area
