Our client, a leading producer of folding carton products, seeks a National Accounts Sales Executive. The ideal candidate is a driven professional focused on prospecting and cultivating programmatic sales opportunities, specifically targeting the food, beverage, and mass market sectors, specializing in the sales of folding cartons.

Salary: $120,000-$150,000 per year 

Location: this opportunity is for a remote sales position that involves 30-40% travel.
 
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Effectively lead and coordinate sales activities.
  • Identify and cultivate new customer relationships for products and services.
  • Conduct thorough analysis and evaluation of sales methods, costs, and outcomes.
  • Directly manage key accounts, acquire new accounts, and coordinate management of other accounts.
  • Actively participate in the development of compelling project proposals.
  • Serve as a representative of the company in diverse community and business gatherings to enhance company visibility.
  • Participate in the preparation, distribution, and delivery of sales materials, exhibits, and promotional programs.
  • Foster positive relationships with partners, vendors, and distributors to enhance collaboration and mutual success.
  • Collaborate with department managers and staff to formulate a five-year business plan.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to contribute to overall organizational effectiveness.

 
Knowledge and Skill Requirements: 

  • 5 years of experience specializing in programmatic sales of folding cartons. 
  • Experience in strategic planning and execution; knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management; knowledge of sales quota goals and revenue expectations.
  • Experience in planning marketing strategies, advertising campaigns, and successful public relations efforts.
  • Work requires professional written/verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects.
  • Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings.
