Our client is an awarded and recognized South Florida's most prominent and fastest-growing marketing solutions provider.
They seek a dynamic and forward-thinking Purchasing Specialist. In this role, you will responsible for executing purchases and shipments of supplies needed to produce high-quality print work, reporting directly to the Financial Controller.
This is not a remote position. The employer will help with relocation costs to South Florida.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Contact vendors to negotiate and execute purchases and shipments of supplies.
- Make purchases as necessary, generate inventory numbers and perform inventory adjustments.
- Verify inventory levels before executing purchases.
- Work with all departments to resolve purchasing discrepancies, damaged goods, or other errors.
- Arrange all product returns with the vendors and ensure the proper charges are made.
- Monitor and manage the in purchases in the MIS system .
- Maintain swatch books and order samples for sales and the clients.
- Assist sales and Assist Accounts Payable as needed.
- Maintain Standard Operating Procedures.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must possess strong problem-solving/decision-making skills.
- Ability and willingness to learn the industry and plant processes.
- Understanding Month-End Close Process.
- 2+ years experience in purchasing – print/paper industry experience a big plus.
