Growing technology driven printing company is seeking an accomplished East Coast Director of Sales. Reporting to the CEO of the company, and part of the senior leadership team, you will be responsible for achieving annual sales goals and objectives in the data driven communications printing industry. This executive will have responsibility for individual sales as well as managing and growing the sales team and will be on the forefront of understanding the needs of customers within the Education/Training, Real Estate, Automotive, Insurance, Political, Retail, Associations, Not for Profit, and Government marketplaces. Will also have overall responsibility for the team's year-over-year sales growth, coaching, assisting with closings and monitoring sales activity. Excellent compensation and benefits package.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage, lead, coach an East Coast based sales team
  • Implement new sales techniques to increase sales volume across multiple product categories to ensure sales goals are met or exceeded
  • Strategically plan and work with sales reps to structure and set sales quota goals and revenue expectations
  • Collaborate with C-level management, colleagues, team members, and production to secure business and attain profit and sales goals
  • Develop and manage sales territory forecasts, activity reports and pipeline activity documentation
  • Maintain key customer relationships and develop and implement strategies for expanding the company's customer base
  • New business development and outside sales as well as directly manage major and critical developing client accounts
  • Identify business within targeted markets for existing and new innovative products and services

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, Master’s degree a plus
  • At least 10 years of sales experience of increasingly responsibility and five+ years in a senior level sales leadership role
  • Strategic business mindset with a proven track record in program sales and contract negotiation
  • Outstanding consultative selling abilities and excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Possess a thorough understanding of data security & technology, direct mail / marketing, offset & digital printing and promotional items
  • A strong background in printing for Education/Training, Real Estate, Automotive, Insurance, Political, Retail, Associations, Not for Profit, and Government
  • Ability to define competitive capabilities to develop plans that improve market share and identify new opportunities and effectively motivate and direct sales team members
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% and live within the Mid-Atlantic or East Coast region
