Global company is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician skilled in electro-mechanical systems and industrial equipment. You will be working at customer sites within the West Coast and nationwide. Responsibilities
- Performing electrical, electro-mechanical, and mechanical troubleshooting, installing, and repairing and maintaining finishing equipment
- Work directly with customers in person and by phone/virtual
- Identify new business opportunities and work closely with the sales team
- Travel to multiple customer printing plants
Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- At least 5 years' experience electrical and electro-mechanical industrial machinery
- Knowledge of diecutting, folding, binding, finishing, or mailing equipment. Candidates with Stahl, Heidelberg, Muller Martini, Bobst, Kolbus, MBO, B&R Moll, Petratto, Baum, Standard Finishing Systems, Graphic Whizard, Horizon, Duplo, MBM, Bell and Howell, Bowe Systec, OR Kern experience preferred.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally (have a valid driver's license and current passport or the ability to obtain one)
- Strong problem solving, testing, repairing, problem-solving, and troubleshooting experience
- Experience training maintenance teams
- Ability to work flexible hours and overtime
- Must live within the West Coast region and be able to travel overnight 75% of the time
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
