Our client is a dynamic and innovative packaging solutions provider specializing in folding cartons industry. They seek an experienced Production Manager to lead a team of 25 in a folding carton production facility, overseeing printing and converting operations. This role focuses on maintaining high standards in safety, quality, productivity, and service, supporting the facility's competitive edge and profitability.
Location: New England (Relocation assistance available)
Salary: $90,000 – $120,000
What You Will Do:
- Supervise and develop a team of 25 hourly employees, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance productivity and minimize waste.
- Implement Lean methodologies to optimize workflow and reduce waste.
- Manage inventory, control costs, and order supplies as needed.
- Promote a safe workplace and positive employee relations.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards such as SQF, ISO 9001, and other relevant programs.
What We Are Looking for:
- Minimum of 5 years in folding carton printing, with hands-on expertise in KBA 145 press operation or supervision.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities, technical proficiency in printing and converting processes
- Familiarity with SQF/HACCP and food safety standards.
- Six Sigma experience is a plus.
