Global equipement company is seeking experienced digital print Applications Specialist skilled in workflow solutions and color management. This is a travel position that will require being at a customer site for up to 2 weeks at a time and remote based from a home office. Must live within an hour of a major airport. Responsibilities
- Post-sales support of digital printing equipment
- Assessment, setup, integration and implementation of workflow and color management solutions
- Train customers on workflow for their new digital press
- Work onsite directly with customers, the workflow team, service technicians and sales during press installation
- Collaborate with the sales team to craft solutions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- At least 10 years' experience in prepress, technology and color management
- Expertise in digital printing workflows from prepress through printing and finishing for Hewlett-Packard/HP, Konica, Ricoh, Canon/Oce, Xerox, Domino Printing Sciences, Riso, Xeikon, EFI, Fujifilm, Kodak, Agfa, Epson, or Screen USA
- Ability to travel and stay 2 weeks onsite domestically and occasionally internationally (have a valid driver's license and current passport or the ability to obtain one)
- Strong problem solving, testing, diagnostic, setup, installation, and troubleshooting experience
- Experience training customers on-site
- Strong color visual acuity and experience with G7, color management, and color profiling
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Must live within an hour of a major airport and be open to extensive travel up to 75%
