Well established company is seeking an experienced Bindery Technical Specialist based in the Southeast. This is a subject matter expert for the bindery skilled in equipment maintenance and repair. You will be the go-to person for field service technicians, customers and the installation team. Some travel throughout the United States but most time will be remote virtual troubleshooting of equipment. Responsibilities
- Mechanical, electrical and operational troubleshooting of bindery folders
- Work remotely with the field service technicians who are at the customer site
- Work directly with customers on-site at their printing facilities
- Identify new business opportunities and work closely with the sales team
Qualifications
- Associates technical degree and/or electrical certifications preferred
- At least 5 years' operating and maintaining bindery equipment
- Expert knowledge of finishing/bindery folding equipment: Baum, Stahl, Heidelberg, Standard Horizon, Morgana, or MBO preferred
- Experience remotely directing others to repair equipment
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally (have a valid driver's license and current passport or the ability to obtain one)
- Strong mechanical/electrical/electronic problem solving, testing, repairing, and troubleshooting
- Experience training technicians, bindery operators, and maintenance teams
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel up to 33% throughout North America
- Must be currently living in the Atlanta area or open to relocation to the area
- Ability to pass a very thorough background check and drug screening
