Our client based in California, a full-service, commercial printer with a strong commitment to environmental responsibility, seeks a remote Commercial Print Estimator. This role is critical and the right candidate will drive profitability and sustainability, ensuring every project is cost-effective, resource-conscious, and aligned with environmental stewardship goals.
Compensation: $70K–$85K | Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM PST (fully remote)
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare precise cost estimates based on project specs, materials, labor, and green production methods.
- Use estimating tools and manage vendor pricing.
- Recommend cost-saving strategies and sustainable alternatives while safeguarding print quality.
Essential Qualifications
- 5+ years of estimating experience in commercial print or mailing environments.
- Expertise in offset/digital/wide-format printing, bindery, and mail-shop operations.
- Strong analytical, communication, and time management skills.
- Proficiency with Excel
- Self-motivated and able to thrive in a remote setting
