Our client, a digital print manufacturing company, is seeking a Plant Manager to lead a fast-paced production operation in the upstate New York region. This is a high-visibility leadership role with full ownership of a key production facility. You will lead operations, drive performance, and build a strong, accountable team in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Top-tier compensation package with a base salary of $165,000–$185,000 and excellent benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Own site performance across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity
- Lead daily operations in a high-volume digital manufacturing environment
- Drive KPIs: throughput, capacity, on-time delivery, labor efficiency
- Maintain strong floor presence and lead from the front
- Identify bottlenecks and drive process and workflow improvements
- Build, coach, and develop a high-performing team
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and cost control
Qualifications:
- 8+ years in manufacturing / production leadership
- Experience in high-volume, automated print environments, managing digital orders ranging from one to thousands through print, finishing, and fulfillment
- Strong background in KPIs, operations, and process improvement
- Hands-on leader with floor presence
- Experience with lean manufacturing
- Knowledge of OSHA / safety standards
- Strong problem-solving and leadership skills
