Our client, a well established provider of custom packaging solutions, is seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Representative, specializing in the sale of high end folding cartons, gift bags and other packaging items. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the packaging industry, a deep understanding of customer needs, and the ability to build and maintain long-lasting relationships.
Salary: $65,000 – $80,000 draw + commission
Location: this is a remote role, and the candidate can be based anywhere on the US East Coast
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and target new business opportunities within the folding carton and packaging markets.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to prospective clients, demonstrating the benefits of our packaging solutions.
- Provide ongoing support and consultation to clients, offering customized solutions to meet their packaging needs.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities for growth.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of packaging products, including materials, manufacturing processes, and industry standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven sales experience in the packaging industry, specifically in folding cartons and high end packaging.
- Strong knowledge of packaging materials, manufacturing processes, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
