Well established company is seeking an experienced Envelope Machine Adjuster for first shift at their Scranton area location. The ideal candidate should be experienced in adjusting, troubleshooting, and optimizing envelope converting machinery. Responsibilities
- Setup, change over, and adjust FL Smithe RA envelope equipment
- Examine job orders and monitor processes
- Provide guidance and training to junior operators and adjusters
- Follow and comply with all safety and compliance procedures
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED required
- 5+ years of hands-on recent experience adjusting envelope converters-FL Smithe experience preferred but BW Converting/Winkler+Dünnebier/W+D equipment experience will be considered
- Strong troubleshooting, math and measurement skills
- Knowledge of commercial, booklet, open-end, remittance, policy, and specialty envelopes
- Ability to stand for an entire shift
- A strong commitment to quality and safety
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Ability to commute to the Scranton Pennsylvania area or relocate to the area
- Possess mechanical aptitude
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
