Growing Southwest printing company is seeking an experienced Finishing Manager with a solid track record of team leadership, people management, personalization, sequencing, and affixing for plastic cards within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. First and Second Shifts available. Excellent compensation, relocation assistance and benefits package.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the data/service bureau area
  • Hire, lead, coach and train supervisors/leads and machine operators
  • Plan, organize, schedule, and monitor production to achieve maximum productivity and quality while maintaining safety
  • Meet or exceed KPI objectives, and control costs within a metrics driven environment
  • Participate as part of the management team and work hand in hand with the VP of Operations
  • Follow and comply with all safety and compliance procedures

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • A proven track record of managing production, while reducing costs, and maintaining a high level of quality and safety
  • Knowledgeable in plastic card manufacturing including: personalization/CPST and affixing including: Atlantic Zeiser Cardline Versa solutions, Data Tracks, Graph-Tech USA, Cross-Core Crossover Series, Card affixers, and Pack-Smart equipment.
  • 3+ years of “on the floor” production management experience over a 20+ person team along with experience manufacturing plastic cards
  • Knowledgeable in staff forecasting, cost control, improving efficiencies and eliminating inefficient processes, six sigma, and lean manufacturing
  • Ability to coach, mentor, train and inspire commitment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Flexibility on work hours especially during peak times
  • Computer literate with ERP software and Microsoft Office
  • Work 1st or 2nd shift on-site and commute daily to the Las Vegas Nevada facility

Salary range: $120,000 – $140,000 per year
