Growing printing company is seeking an experienced wide format flatbed Screen Printing Operator. The ideal candidate should be experienced in automatic roll to roll textile screen printing. Responsibilities
- Set up and operate a roll to roll flatbed screen printer
- Ensure the proper printing in accordance with specifications
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues
- Handle preventative maintenance and ink mixing
- Examine job orders and monitor printing processes and quality
- Provide guidance and training to junior operators
- Follow and comply with all safety and compliance procedures
- Collaborate with the R&D team
Qualifications
- High school degree required
- At least 3 years of recent hands-on silkscreen printing experience
- Able to relocate to the Somerset Kentucky area
- Strong color visual acuity, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test
- Screen printing experience with Zimmer experience preferred but candidates with Thieme, Spgprints, or other flatbed, long stroke, or rotary silk screen printing experience will also be considered
- Strong math and measurement skills
- A strong commitment to quality and safety
- Possess mechanical aptitude
