Growing high quality printing company is seeking a first shift Mailroom Inserting Lead for their Atlanta location. This is a fast-paced production team driven by the principles of operational excellence and continuous improvement. This company promotes from within. Responsibilities

  • Operate intelligent inserters
  • Supervise a small letter shop production team
  • Ensure the proper inserting, inkjet printing and tabbing in accordance with customer specifications
  • Examine job orders and monitor compliance to postal regulations 
  • Determine the schedule and sequence of production needs
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
  • Training operators as needed

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 3+ years of hands-on lettershop experience running intelligent inserters (MCS Flowmaster intelligent inserter preferred but W+D experience will be considered),
  • Experience running Inkjet printing/personalization systems (Kirk-Rudy Phoenix, Kodak/Scitex or Rena printers preferred) and tabbers a big plus
  • Strong math and measurement skills
  • Mechanical maintenance and problem-solving abilities
  • A strong commitment to quality and safety
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed
  • Ability to lift and move 70 pounds
  • Experience with USPS PostalOne! ® system and use of postal software (Bluecrest/BCC Mail Manager preferred but Quadrient Inspire/GMC Printnet or other mailing software will be considered) a plus
