Global graphic supplies company is seeking a black belt certified Process Engineer to spearhead process and project management initiatives throughout North America. Based in the Chicago Illinois area, a successful individual will be pivotal in transforming the organization into a data-driven, lean entity, embracing six sigma methodologies to enhance operational efficiency. Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage North American projects utilizing Six Sigma/Lean methodologies.
  • Support the development and implementation of the Six Sigma/Lean strategy across the region.
  • Coach and support Green Belt projects, providing expert guidance in Six Sigma methods.
  • Direct cross-functional project teams focused on process improvement.
  • Maintain thorough documentation for all project phases.
  • Conduct phase reviews and support project champions in applying project outcomes.
  • Organize and lead optimization workshops.
  • Develop systems to monitor and report on Six Sigma/Lean activities and results.
  • Define and manage continuous improvement projects across various departments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or business administration.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in process and project management.
  • Certified Six Sigma Black Belt.
  • Proven experience in change management and handling KPIs as well as lean manufacturing, Kaizen, and 5s
  • Proficient in MS Office applications including PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Project, and SharePoint.
  • Demonstrates initiative, independence, and a structured, analytical approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset with a comprehensive understanding of business processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of managing conflicts and fostering teamwork.
  • Experienced in leading, motivating, and managing interdisciplinary project teams.
  • Able to commute to the Western Chicago suburbs or relocation to that area.
