Our client is an established and innovative manufacturer of flexographic equipment seeking a Technical Operations Manager with deep knowledge of flexographic machinery, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on problem-solving, mechanical troubleshooting, and engineering innovation — and who wants to work directly with executive leadership while serving as a driving force behind operational success.
Location: Los Angeles, CA (onsite) with oversight of a Washington State facility, with travel 2–4 times per year for coordination and support.
Salary: $80,000–$115,000 (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the technical operations team at the California facility and provide oversight for the Washington site.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and optimize flexographic machinery and mechanical systems.
- Build and refine custom machine add-ons and engineering solutions.
- Work with various substrates, adhesives, and materials used in label and agricultural packaging.
- Drive continuous improvement across equipment, processes, and operational efficiency.
- Manage multiple engineering and production-related projects simultaneously.
Qualifications:
- Strong hands-on knowledge of flexographic labels or converting machinery and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Experience leading technical or production teams in a manufacturing or equipment-focused environment.
- Excellent communication and project management skills; able to manage multiple priorities.
- Process-minded with the ability to establish KPIs, structure, and continuous improvement.
- Innovative, mechanically inclined, and comfortable collaborating with executive leadership.
- Spanish preferred but not required.
