Our client in the Chicago IL Metro area, is a rapidly expanding, trusted provider of the flexible packaging industry. They are currently seeking an experienced Purchasing (Sourcing) Manager. Our client is on an exciting path with cutting-edge technology and plans for substantial growth. You will be a crucial player, shaping the future of our operations and making a real impact in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage supply chain, assess risks, and streamline procurement.
- Build and maintain supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee supplier evaluation.
- Ensure partner compliance through audits.
- Regularly refine supplier selection to meet company objectives.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years experience in sourcing or a similar role, preferably within the manufacturing sector of flexible packaging.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Salary: $105,000 – $120,000 per year
