Global equipment company is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician skilled in mechanical systems, electrical and electromechanical maintenance. You will be working from a home office and travelling to customer sites within the United States. Must live near a major airport.   • Responsibilities
  • Performing electro-mechanical, and mechanical troubleshooting, installing, and repairing and maintaining offset sheetfed presses
  • Troubleshooting mechanical/electrical problems
  • Work directly with customers on-site at their printing facilities
  • Identify new business opportunities and work closely with the sales team
  • Travel to multiple customer printing plants

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • At least 2 years' mechanical and electrical maintenance and repair of offset press machinery
  • Knowledge of lithographic printing equipment such as Heidelberg, Komori, Manroland, Koenig & Bauer/KBA, RMGT, Sakurai, Akiyama OR Mitsubishi Lithographic presses
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally (have a valid driver's license and current passport or the ability to obtain one)
  • Authorization to work within the United States
  • Strong problem solving, testing, repairing, problem-solving, and troubleshooting experience
  • Experience training maintenance teams
  • Ability to work flexible hours and overtime
  • Must live in the United States within 50 miles of a major airport and be able to travel overnight 80-100% of the time
  • Ability to pass a very thorough background check and drug screening
  • Travel Monday-Friday with occasional weekends
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
