Innovative global digital printing equipment manufacturer is seeking experienced a remote Field Service Technician to cover the Houston Texas area installing, maintaining and repairing digital printing production presses. Responsibilities
- Installation, training, service, and repair of toner based digital production presses
- Work directly with customers in person and by phone/virtual
- Identify new business opportunities and work closely with the sales team
- Collaborate with engineering team for equipment improvements
Qualifications
- Associates technical degree preferred
- Must live within the Houston TX area
- At least 5 years' experience electrical and electro-mechanical maintenance on Electrophotographic/toner based production printers such as Xerox, Fujifilm, Konica Minolta, Canon, Ricoh, or Xeikon
- Ability to work from home and travel within a defined regional territory – home most nights
- Have a valid driver's license and a current passport or the ability to obtain one
- Strong problem solving, testing, repairing, and troubleshooting experience
- Experience training customers
- Strong color visual acuity, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts and hours
