Global company is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician skilled in electro-mechanical systems and prepress and printing equipment to cover the Mid-Atlantic. You will be working remotely and travelling to customer sites and occasionally travelling throughout the US. Responsibilities
- Performing electrical, electro-mechanical, and mechanical troubleshooting, installing, and repairing and maintaining Computer to Plate/CTP and large format inkjet printing equipment
- Work directly with customers in person and by phone/virtual
- Identify new business opportunities and work closely with the sales team
Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- At least 5 years' experience electrical and electro-mechanical repair of pre-press platesetter machinery
- Knowledge of offset or flexo plate setters
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally (have a valid driver's license and current passport or the ability to obtain one)
- Strong problem solving, testing, repairing, problem-solving, and troubleshooting experience
- Experience training maintenance teams
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Must be able to drive extensively in the Philadelphia to Richmond area
- Strong color visual acuity, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
