Growing digital printing equipment manufacturer is seeking an experienced remote Territory Sales Manager to cover the Upper Midwest US. You must be located near a major airport within one of the following states: Minnesota, Illinois, Wisconsin, or Iowa. Target markets are commercial, folding carton/packaging, and point-of-purchase (POP) printing companies. You will be working remotely from a home office and travel within the Upper Midwest. Excellent compensation (base + commission) and benefits package that includes full company paid medical coverage for employee, corporate credit card for expenses, laptop, phone, milage, and 401k with company match.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic direct sales of digital printing presses
- Meet and exceed sales goals
- Prospect and generate leads for new business development
- Cultivate new business
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows
- Submit weekly and monthly reports
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Live within the Upper Midwest US: MN, IL, WI, IA preferred
- At least 5 years' outside direct sales experience with a track record of success selling big ticket capital equipment
- A strong network of contacts within the Commercial Printing, Folding Carton/Paperboard Packaging, and/or Point of Purchase (POP)/Displays printing communities
- Knowledge of offset, inkjet, and digital print
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong new business development, hunter mentality, solution sales and relationship building skills
- Be a self-starter, highly organized, and work independently from a home office
- Experience working with a CRM system
- Ability to work from home and travel extensively within the Midwest US (have a car and valid driver's license)
- Ability to travel internationally (current passport or the ability to obtain one)
