Growing global printing equipment manufacturer is seeking an experienced remote Service Manager to cover the United States managing a team of Technical Specialists, Field Service Technicians, and Engineers who are installing, maintaining and repairing printing equipment. Responsibilities

  • Hire, lead, and manage a team of printing specialists and field service employees who handle installation, training, service, and repair
  • Develop employees by setting performance objectives, coaching, and training
  • Strategic management and continuous process improvement
  • Work directly with customers in person and by phone/virtual as needed
  • Submit reports monthly, quarterly, and yearly
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows
  • Identify new business opportunities and work closely with the sales team
  • Collaborate with headquarters and engineering team for equipment improvements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's technical degree preferred
  • Must live near a major airport within the United States
  • At least 5 years of experience managing a 20+ team of field service employees
  • At least 10 years' experience electrical, mechanical, and electro-mechanical maintenance of printing equipment (offset, flexo, inkjet, or electrophotographic/toner based printing presses such as Komori, Koenig & Baurer/KBA, Heidelberg, manroland, RMGT, Sakurai, Akiyama, Sanden, Timson, Mitsubishi Lithographic, Mark Andy, Nilpeter, Uteco, Omet, Bobst, Comexi, Gallus, Tresu, W&H, F&K, PCMC, Konica, Ricoh, Canon/Oce, Xerox, Domino, Riso, Xeikon, HP/Indigo, Screen USA, Agfa, Fujifilm, EFI, Kornit, Mimaki, Mutoh, Durst, Roland DGA, OR swissQprint)
  • Ability to work from home and travel within the USA up to 30% of the time
  • Have a valid driver's license and a current passport or the ability to obtain one
  • Strong printing problem solving, testing, repairing, and troubleshooting experience
  • Experience training employees and customers and working with C-level through hands on operators
  • Strong color visual acuity, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
