Innovative global digital printing equipment manufacturer is seeking an experienced remote selling Sales Manager for inkjet production presses. You will be able to work remotely from a home office so must live near a major airport. Extensive travel within the US to customer sites and while managing a small team. Responsibilities:

  • Strategic direct sales of inkjet based digital production presses
  • Manage, lead, coach an United States based distributed sales team
  • Implement new sales techniques to increase sales volume across multiple product categories to ensure sales goals are met or exceeded
  • Meet and exceed individual and team sales goals
  • Prospect and generate leads for new business development
  • Cultivate new business
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows
  • Submit weekly and monthly reports
  • Collaborate with C-level management, colleagues, other division managers and team members to secure business and attain profit and sales goals

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Must live must live near a major airport and have authorization to legally work in the US
  • At least 3 years sales team management along with 5 years direct outside sales experience with a track record of success selling big ticket capital equipment and at least 2 years selling high speed inkjet presses (sheetfed and/or roll fed) such as Xerox, Fujifilm, HP, Screen USA, Konica Minolta, Canon, Ricoh, or Xeikon
  • Outstanding consultative selling abilities and excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to define competitive capabilities to develop plans that improve market share and identify new opportunities and effectively motivate and direct sales team members
  • Strong new business development, hunter mentality, solution sales and relationship building skills
  • Be a self-starter, highly organized, and work independently
  • Ability to work from home and travel up to 70% (have a valid driver's license)
