Innovative global digital printing equipment manufacturer is seeking experienced a remote Service Manager to cover the Western United States managing a team of Field Service Technicians who are installing, maintaining and repairing digital printing production presses. Responsibilities

  • Hire, lead, and manage a team of field service employees who handle installation, training, service, and repair of toner based digital production presses
  • Develop employees by setting performance objectives, coaching, and training
  • Work directly with customers in person and by phone/virtual as needed
  • Submit service reports monthly, quarterly, and yearly
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows
  • Identify new business opportunities and work closely with the sales team
  • Collaborate with engineering team for equipment improvements

Qualifications

  • Bachelors technical degree preferred
  • Must live near a major airport within the Western US-Texas preferred
  • At least 3 years of experience managing a 10+ team of field service employees
  • At least 5 years' experience electrical and electro-mechanical maintenance on Electrophotographic/toner based production printers such as Xerox, Fujifilm, Konica Minolta, Canon, Ricoh, or Xeikon
  • Ability to work from home and travel within the Western US up to 60% of the time
  • Have a valid driver's license and a current passport or the ability to obtain one
  • Strong problem solving, testing, repairing, and troubleshooting experience
  • Experience training employees and customers
  • Strong color visual acuity, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and hours
