Our client, a well-established packaging company, seeks an experienced Sales Account Executive to drive growth in contract packaging and POP corrugated display solutions for top consumer brands. This role is ideal for a proven B2B sales professional with a $3–4M book of business, strong understanding of packaging manufacturing and 3PL operations, and a passion for helping brands bring products to life.
Compensation: $100,000-$150,000 annual draw + commission
Location: Chicagoland (hybrid role)
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and grow accounts in corrugated packaging, POP displays, and fulfillment.
- Prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities.
- Manage and forecast sales pipeline to meet targets.
- Collaborate with internal teams (design, operations, logistics) to meet client needs.
- Present creative and production solutions that align with cost, timeline, and brand goals.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through proactive communication and follow-up.
- Stay current on market trends, competitors, and industry developments.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience in related industries: packaging, displays, printing, corrugated, or marketing services.
- Proven ability to manage and grow $3–5M in annual sales.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing, design, and 3PL capabilities.
- CRM proficiency and working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
